April
It was just another
day in April. What I didn’t know then is that that day was going to be the door
leading to a big adventure.
The Far East: this
was a big excitement for me because I‘ve never been there before, and we were
going to be in: Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Nepal. The bad part is we
are going to fly at September: BUMMER.
September
September 3rd,
the day we are supposed to fly to Turkey, and then to Bangkok. There was a big
excitement in the house knowing this would be our last day in my homeland. At
this day all our family came to say goodbye. After presents (Yay!) and hugs we
went to the airport.
Turkey. mmm…
delicious. The airport is much larger than in Israel. We had to walk for half
an hour to get to the gate. We met 2 Israelis and talked to them. They said
they stayed there for 12 hours. After a 9 hour flight we finally reached to
Bangkok Airport. Mom’s flight had delayed in an hour so we played “set”. It
took 4 hours but we arrived Hua-Hin, our first stop in Thailand. We rearranged
and we went to the night market to eat.
The first days had a
routine: beach and then then pool (boring). On Sunday we went to Pala-U
waterfalls. A beautiful place. Around it there is a 1000 years old forest. It
has 16 steps. We were allowed to go only until step 5. At the 3rd
step there is a pool with really cold water. After that we went to a disgusting
restaurant. Then we went to the big Buddha, a big Buddha statue. Not a lot to
see.
The day after that
we started studying. We had English, Hebrew, Math, Science and PE. Then we swam
in the pool and went to the night market, where we spent more time then ever and
then we went to sleep.
